Just In: Natasha Akpoti Joins The Fight Against Conoravirus As She Laments The State Of Decay Health System.

The Gubernatorial Candidate of Social Democratic Party ( SDP ) in the last election, Barrister Natasha H Akpoti has joined in the fight against the dreaded Coronavirus that is ravaging the world at the moment.

Barrister Natasha Akpoti who announced the delivery of 5,000 pieces of hand sanitizers and other food items to the good people of Kogi State disclosed this on her official Facebook page on Saturday being 28th Match 2020.

An extract from her post reads, \”FedoBee Skin has just completed the production of 5,000 pieces of hand sanitizers while our food items would be in Kogi by Tuesday…. all for statewide distribution by Wednesday God willing\”.

Barrister Natasha Akpoti also empathised with the good people of Nigeria and Kogi people in particular, lamented on the state of inadequate healthcare services stressing that this pandemic is happening at the time when salaries remain unpaid, SMEs are shut down and the self isolations…

Her post further clarified that the relief materials are to be shared among the three senatorial districts irrespective of party affiliation or fate inclination.

Her statement reads in full:

\” Beloved indigenes of Kogi state and citizens of Nigeria, we are faced with the coronavirus pandemic which has disrupted our lives and it’s sadly evident that we are not, as a state and country, prepared for this.

My greatest concern goes to my state, Kogi. The poor people would have to bear this disaster amidst inadequate healthcare services, unpaid salaries, shut down of the SMEs and the self isolations.

However, to pull through these times, EVERYONE has a role to play NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE!!!

The well offs in our society must help the less privileged.

On my little part, I’m preparing some emergency relief materials for indigenes of Kogi state.

FedoBee Skincare has just completed the production of 5,000 pieces of hand sanitizers while our food items would be in Kogi by Tuesday… all for statewide distribution by Wednesday God willing.
