\”How Long Will You Remain A volunteer victim?\”
One day after a very very busy and tiring day, the long day was finally over and i hurried over to my car, couldn’t wait to get home and be all comfy again, I would FINNALLY get out of my sweaty work clothes, have a soothing shower, grab a nice meal and finally relax whew!🙄🙄
I Matched the accelerator, the car made an attempt to move quite alright but something kept pulling it back, the harder I matched the accelerator the harder the opposite pull hindered it from moving smoothly…. oh no 🤦♀ not again!
The thought of been stranded in my current state of mind and go looking for a mechanic that evening just crippled me inside!, I couldn\’t just wait to get home But….
I soon forgot about my mission to rush home and become saddled with my car challenge, wondering why a car parked in perfect condition will suddenly became unable to even move …gloom, fear, anger, sorrow, self pity you name it! was all over me.
I struggled and the car moved a little less than a meter with great difficulties when i suddenly noticed a red light beeping on the dash board, oh my God The Hand Brakes! 😅😅
Goodness! how did i forget that?
I was so carried away with things not working as I wanted that I didn\’t even notice the red beep all the while …. and as soon as I pulled the brakes I immediately had my smooth ride home! nothing was wrong with my car after all!
Hmmmmn Interestingly that’s how many of us go through life with hand brakes on I want to be a great baker BUT…. I want to rule my world BUT, I want to start a Bussiness BUT … I wish I could finish my book BUT? I need to take that class BUT….I have been meaning to do this Or that BUT …. I don\’t like the life I am living BUT…\”
