FIFA 2022 World Cup: Nigeria Draws Cape Verde, Central Africa Rep And Liberia

FIFA World Cup for 2022 African Qualifier sees Super Eagle of Nigeria draws Cape Verde, Central African Republic and Liberia.

Many sport analysts have tipped Nigeria to qualify from the group having escaped other African giants like: Cameroon, Ghana, Egypt, Senegal and other football known Nations on the continent.

Super Eagles will begin their Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign in Group C alongside Cape Verde, Central Africa Republic and Liberia.

The three-time African champions qualified for their sixth World Cup tournament in 2018 and will be looking to make it four times in a row to the oil-rich nation.

Liberia were in the same group with Nigeria during the Japan/Korea 2002 World Cup qualifier where the both sides won their respective home matches.

Cameroon and Cote D\’Ivoire will slug it with two southern African nations including Mozambique and Malawi in Group D.

One of Ghana and South Africa will not be making it through to the next stage of the qualifiers as they have been pegged alongside Zimbabwe and in Group G.

African champions Algeria are expecting to make it through to the next phase in Group A comprising Burkina Faso, Niger and Djibouti.

Egypt have also been placed in a tricky group with Gabon, Libya and Angola as the North Africans walk on a tight rope in Group F.

Tunisia, Zambia, Mauritania and Equatorial Guinea are in Group B while Senegal, Congo Namibia and Togo are in Group H.

Mali, Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda are in Group E as Morocco, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau and Sudan occupy Group I.

Group J has Democratic Republic of Congo, Benin, Madagascar and Tanzania.
