Breaking:Volunteers Of Npower Set For Nationwide Strike Over Non Payment Of Stipend.

Trending News of Npower: \”Npower Beneficiaries To Enjoy New Minimum Wage Like NYSC Corps Members\”

Volunteers of Npower are likely to embark on nationwide strike on Tuesday being 25th February 2020 over continuous delay of their January 2020 stipend.

According to TVCNews in an interview with the Minister in charge of Npower, Hajiya Sadiya Farouq, Npower Volunteers across the country are threatening to embark on nationwide strike over what they collectively described as an act of insensitivity and wickedness on those who continued to delay their January 2020 stipend without clear reason to justify the delay.

According to some Npower Beneficiaries who spoke with TVCNews they said, this is not the first time this is happening to them as they recalled May 2017, July 2018, October 2019 and now January 2020.

They said some people are out to sabotage the effort of President Muhammadu Buhari to nurture Npower to so much anticipated \”Enhancement Scheme Stage\” which is to give permanent employment for the volunteers as they are not expected to go back to the street any longer.

They beneficiaries added that they have world class network in place and they have contacted their colleagues across the Nation to stay out of their place of primary assignment ( PPA) on Tuesday being 25th February, 2020 should their January 2020 stipend is not paid on Monday being 24th February.

Recall also One Npower Volunteer Has Last Week Cautioned The Minister In Charge Of Npower To Stop Sabotaging Buhari\’s Effort- Aimed At Making Npower Enhancement Scheme A Reality.

Meanwhile, the Minister in charge of Npower, Hajiya Sadiya Farouq in an interview with TVCNews appealed to the volunteers to suspend the proposed strike as they would soon be paid.
