Breaking: Major Boost Against COVID-19 Fight As Nigerian Student Invents World Class Ventilator

As the fight against COVID-19 continues around the world, Student of Amodu Bello University ( ABU) Zaria named as Usman Dalhatu has invented a portable automatic ventilator to combat the dreaded pandemic.

Usman Dalhatu is a Mechanical Engineering student in his year two in ABU zaria.

Presenting the sample of the ventilator to the Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering, usman Dalhatu said, he used the period of compulsory holiday to conduct the research and added that when given opportunity, he can produce reasonable numbers that would be sufficient for Nigeria and the rest of Africa.

Responding, Head of Department, Dr. ANAFI, Fatai Olukayode, of Mechanical Engineering said Usman Dalhatu has made the institution proud and Nigeria in general and that he will do everything within his capacity with the assistance of the school management to promote usman\’s invention.
