President Donald Trump is presently having a face off with big Pharmaceutical industries in United State American ( USA ) following his recent move that ensured price reduction in the prices of drugs.
Trump has given reason arising from covid-19 pandemic why he had to ensure price reduction in drugs as he noted the purchasing power of Americans have dropped significantly due to lockdown that crippled most businesses activities.
Big Pharmaceutical industries are now running offensive adverts on Television against Donald Trump as if he is running autocratic system of government.
However, Trump himself has explained in a Facebook post that \”the ad is a lie! What I have done will lead to a 50% REDUCTION in prices, at least, & Big Pharma is not happy about it. No other President would be able to produce what I have\”.
His full post reads \”Big Pharma is taking television ads trying to make the case that I am raising prescription drug prices on seniors. The ad is a lie!
