The Governor Elect of Edo state, Mr Godwin Obaseki has released an emotional statement to appreciate the good people of Edo state following his overwhelming victory at the just concluded gubernatorial election that returned him elected.
In his statement, Governor Obaseki says, \”Words fail me in saluting our teeming supporters who displayed immense courage in the face of threats, intimidation and brutalization\”
He added, \”the collective will of Edo People made it possible for us to triumph over godfatherism\”
He concluded by saying, \”congratulations to all Edo people, this is our victory\”
