One of the largest electrical electronics in the country located in the heart of Lokoja Kogi State capital known as \”PeeLinks Electronics\” is currently on fire.
In a video chat with ourworldgist reporter, Tairu Salifu, he said the edifice with multimillion dollar electrical appliances gut fire at about 10:48pm on Friday night being 25th September, 2020 with residents of the area and the owner of the edifice looking helpless as all effort made to reach fire service in the state capital proved abortive.
Hence, barely 10 hours of this ugly development, the fire service in the state are yet to arrive the scene despite the fact that the edifice is located in the heart of the town or better still a stone stroll to government house.

You recall that #Ourworldgist earlier the week the week reported similar incident opposite Kogi state polytechnic in which fire service in the state lamented they have no capacity or equipment to combat such inferno.
While, sympathising with the owner of this company, from all of us at the #ourworldgist, we equally grief with the good people of Lokoja who are battling with fire incident and #Flooding at same time.
