Opinion: Npower New NEXIT Clause To Beneficiaries Is Unacceptable Says – Suleiman Abdul

Suleiman Abdul, an Npower Beneficiary has said, the new clause attached to NEXIT package is unacceptable.

According to Suleiman Abdul, after almost 7 months of waiting for the so much publicized Exit package for beneficiaries, it is deceptive of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs led by Hajiya Sadiya Farouq Umar to say \”Any Npower beneficiary that benefited from other Government loan or grant such as NIRSAL, COVID 19, NYIF, AGMEIS etc might not benefit from NEXIT package\”.

This attached clause according to Suleiman Abdul is to cause further confusion and mind game of postponing the Exit package which has been the usual gimmick of the Ministry.

Abdul added that, getting loan or grant from government under any guise is personal and should not have anything to do with the NEXIT package.

He stressed that \”denying beneficiaries of NEXIT package is like denying a pensioner his or her gratuity and other benefits because he or she is on loan or grant.

Is that not injustice? Can this kind of a thing be mentioned in a civilised society?

NEXIT package as we are made to understand from the beginning is a pay off to Beneficiaries to further their businesses in whatever area they have acquired skills.

So if for instance a beneficiary get a loan or grant to further his or her education, he or she should be denied of NEXIT package?

This woman have used so many tactics to unleash pains on the beneficiaries and I think enough is enough as any thing short of our demand would make us to #MOVE\”.

Abdul added that the federal government have more than enough resource to make everyone happy but wonders why some individuals are bent on frustrating the effort of President Muhammadu Buhari and that of Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

He therefore advised president Muhammadu Buhari to sack those sabotaging his good programme and urgently absorb all Npower Beneficiaries into civil service workforce as promised from the beginning or alternatively give all beneficiaries a good NEXIT package.
